This is literally the best beach in the world. If you come at the right time of year it’s completely empty. There’s free parking available although subject to fee during the summer season. Watch out for the high tide as I’ve personally seen people’s belongings get swept away. There are a some restaurants around and the parking lot has a few vending machines.
This is quite a nice beach. There is plenty of space, nice sand, and nice ocean. There are only a few food options nearby, though. Also, there is not really much in terms of facilities (toilets, showers, water, etc).
Great beach, easy access to water, it's shallow for a long stretch so you can really enjoy it. Still has some rocks so you can also take nice pictures. No shower as far as we know.
For swimming is a little bit dangerous but the beach is very beautiful. I recommend this beach if you have time please visit there
Lovely beach with white sand. Went on a Friday during the summer so it was not very busy. Quite a few surfers here. Plenty of parking space and you can rent parasols and body boards
Great beach in Shimoda. Wide, clean, and on good days, there are some good waves to do boogie boarding and surfing etc. Tend to get crowded on summer weekends (and Japanese school holidays), but far better than those much closer to Tokyo.
Picturesque, big parking, lots of space, and a very pretty beach.
Clear water, not very crowded. Rental stores close by that lease beach parasols, chairs and body boards.
